Camp NaNoWriMo is Coming!

I try to participate in NaNoWriMo every year (that's Nation Novel Writing Month, which is in November), but I don't always do camp. This year is one of the years I'm going to get to, and I'm super excited to see if I can finish the book I've been working on during the month of April!

If you've never participated in Camp NaNoWriMo, let me explain. It's a writing competition/contest where you race to get 50k (or less, since camp is more lax than the official event in November) within the span of a month. Camp officially starts on April 1st, and they're currently putting people into cabins, which in my opinion is the best part. They match you with a group of people who are also trying to meet their word count, and you have an open discussion thread where you can cheer each other on or ask for help. It's super fun, and if any of you have been thinking about starting a novel, or a short story, Camp NaNo is the perfect time to do it!

There are also a ton of helpful forums where you can find plots and characters and ask for help on stuff you're stuck on. I really think you should all go check it out! I'm placing the link to their website below! As of now, I'm letting them put me in a random cabin, but if any of you want to try and form one with me, please let me know! :)
