Villain, the First in a new Dark MM!

I'm so excited to share this with you all! Villain is my upcoming Dark MM Sci-Fi Why Choose! It'll have themes of Enemies to Lovers and takes place in another college setting similar (but different) to the Devils of Vitality. And what's more, it features Lake! You may or may not have heard his name a time or two casually mentioned throughout the Devils of Vitality series. He hasn't made an appearance in the books, but he's spoken of a time or two and is a shadow member of Kelevra's retinue. Instead of giving him a regular book, I decided he was perfect for this spin-off of sorts instead!

Lake is in line for the throne on his home planet, which he has left Vitality and returned to at the start of the book. He has two best friends who he's been close with his entire life, and the three of them are known as the Demons of Foxglove Grove on their elite university campus. This is definitely different from the DOV books in the sense there's a why choose element at play, with the other MC, Nix, in sexual relationships with all three of the Demons (agreed upon by Lake and the others, there isn't any cheating going on here). These guys are all used to sharing things, so it's not crazy or out of the norm for them to share a lover, especially not on this planet. There are more bullying elements in this than in the DOV books as well, but I promise a HEA....at the end, because this is a trilogy.

For those of you who aren't into Why Choose, don't worry, I'm not making a permanent switch to this genre. This just felt right for this series and I really wanted to write a dark college romance why choose, because I can never find many MM one's, and that always bums me out, lol.

The covers for these are some of my favorites, and this will be the first series that I release in both paperback AND hardcover, so that's also exciting! For now, here's a look at the first cover, featuring Lake! Followed by the official blurb:

Nix Monroe has a plan.

Infiltrate the Enigma app and lure out whoever his cousin was last speaking with before everything went to shit. Nix won’t stop until he finds answers, even if that means transferring to a different university and getting entangled with the infamous Demons of Foxglove Grove.

Lake, West, and Yejun. Three of the most powerful men on the entire planet, and also the deadliest. When Nix finds himself on their radar, he thinks maybe it’s not all bad, and he can twist the situation to his advantage. It’s not long, however, before he discovers the Demons have their own objective.

Someone is after them, and they want to use Nix to lure out whoever that may be. Forced to pretend to be their new mutual plaything, Nix struggles to search for clues about his cousin and maintain personal boundaries between himself and the guys. They might take his body, but he refuses to give them any other part of himself, especially since there’s no way of knowing if one of them happens to be the person he’s after.

Lake is next in line for the throne and will do anything to stop those secretly trying to prevent him from taking it. He treats Nix like a possession, something he has a right to take. And potentially break.

West is an up-and-coming boxer who rules the school with boyish charm and iron fists. He doesn’t try to hide who or what he is, not even from Nix, the first of the Demons to bend him to his will, laughing all the while.

Yejun is considered the flirt of the group, the one who’s hooked up with practically everyone on campus. Initially, he’s not interested in playing pretend with Nix, but it isn’t long before he’s changed his tune.

It doesn’t take long before Nix realizes he’s in danger of falling for these monstrous men. He needs a way out, and fast, preferably before any of them realize he’s been using them as well. Nix needs to check their names off the list of suspects so he can move on and find his cousin’s killer.

But what happens when they catch him scheming? Will they help him?

Or destroy him?

Trigger Warnings: This is a Dark MM Sci-Fi Enemies to Lovers Why Choose Romance. There are themes of bullying, control, and manipulation, as well as a man character who is shared between three other men. A full list of warnings will be made available closer to release.
